That's the current month, isn't it? Sorry for another ridiculous lack of updates, but school this semester is about twice as much work as it was last semester... but that's the difference between 2nd and 3rd year I suppose. But I'm enjoying it so that's all that matters, right?

-I'm taking Romantic Literature, Popular Literature (focusing on time travel literature), 18th Century American Literature and Gender Studies this semester. Gender Studies hits oddly close to home with over half the course being devoted to transgender.

-It's great getting to attend college as male. I feel so much more comfortable just BEING here and I'm more comfortable about talking in class. Even if I'm uncomfortable with the deepness of my voice in comparison to the other guys. I really want it to deepen more, because it's a little unnerving looking like a 14 year old boy in a 21+ class. Some of that is facial masculinization as well, but that will happen with time.

-I'm also planning to start my legal name change soon. Kai has become my middle name and I've adopted a first name that's a) Strictly masculine and b)Private (separate from cosplay accounts like DA, Youtube, formspring etc.). The name Kai ended up being more of a transition name, and it served it's purpose (being unisex and starting with the same first letter of my birth name) but now I feel as though I don't need or want that protection anymore. I chose a name that I (and others) thought suited me and that my parents would like as well.

-My cat seems to have developed a habit of shoving his face into mine at 2am. I haven't slept through the night once this past week XD

-My cosplay plans for the next few months revolve around Halloween and Aki Con. Halloween is a nostalgia costume for me... and I'm pretty doubtful anyone is going to recognize/understand wtf I am come October 31st. Aki Con is.... <--- just gonna leave it at that for now because I'm not yet completetly convinced that our cosplay plan for this con is NOT a dream or elaborate figment of my imagination.

-I'm already excited for Christmas, how fucked up is that?
