Banzaicon 2012 (Norway)It appraches! :iconvandorwolf: and I will be flying to Norway on Wednesday for Banzaicon 2012! We're extremely excited, still riding out Sakura Con con high!
We've got a little more prep work to do, but we're almost all set. I'm really excited about our cosplay lineup, considering that it's got one of my childhood dream cosplays and a cosplay that I've been meaning to re-do for YEARS included

On the 19th of January 2008, I hadn't really intended to do anything to make my life change so drastically. There was no plan, no preconception, nothing. Things just happened the way they happened, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

From that day on, my life was changed. I'd gone from a previously unhappy relationship to one I now was full of hope, excitement and expectation. My previous relationship had me feeling worn out, disillusioned and unhappy by three years or so into the relationship, yet with Jenn, I'm four years in, and still as crazily in love as the day I met her.

FFFFFFFFFF Procrastination. And Upcoming SurgeryHey all!
So for the first time in maybe ever my DA inbox is at 100 notes... I've been REALLY bad about keeping up with replies this past 2 weeks but I will try my best to get through them. I'm behind on all of my accounts, so it's not just DA, I've been lazy everywhere. I'm hoping that my time off after surgery will help me do that XD
Which leads me to my next announcement, I will be having surgery on the 10th. It's a revision of the surgery I got last year. So nothing to be concerned about, it's a pretty straight-forward procedure. However, because I'll have the mobility of a T-Rex for a few weeks there might not be any FDP Youtube action for a little while. We're coming up to a busy time prepping for Sakura Con and Banzaicon as well so February might be a little slow in terms of updates.
I'm pretty pumped about the cosplays we have underway for Sakura Con and Banzaicon though 8D I'm well into the most complex one, and things are going well with construction so far. Which is a bloody

Thank you for the Valentines! 8D And Tsukino ConI logged onto DA and glanced at my inbox and saw that I had about 30 new messages from today. Then I freaked out thinking that I had fallen obscenely behind in my replies again (I am behind, but it'd classify it as being "regrettably" behind XD). Then I looked and saw that they were all (mostly) Valentines cards! Thank you so much everyone!!!

I'm recovering well

There's a lot more bruising, incisions and pain this time around but on the plus side this is my second time going through this so I've been better prepared for dealing with it all.
Mind as well announce that Nova and I will be at Tsukino Con this Saturday! I won't be in cosplay (for obvious reasons) but I'm looking forward to hanging out with people and getting out of the house for a day of fun!!! So to anyone going to Tsukino Con, I'll see you there! ANd i apologize in advance if I show up looking like a slob... but that's all I'm comfortable wearing atm (can't button up jeans! XD).

A look back on 2011What a year it's been! I definitely learned a lot about myself this year, and I've also had some experiences of a lifetime that I won't soon forget

Chest surgery, February 2011: a life changing experience for me, really. I can swim, I can use the men's showers and locker room at the gym, I walk with my chest out instead of slumped inward... it made summer a time of enjoyment rather than one of hot discomfort and longing. I'm looking forward to my revision in Feb 2012

Allergic Reaction/Face Spots Post-Surgery, February 2011-July 2011: I was on top of the world! I was so confident in my looks and I will even venture to say that I was vain and self-absorbed. I was hit was a major breakout of spots and bumps on my face after surgery. it was so embarrassing and it really took a toll of my confidence and my willingness to cosplay/be on camera/be in public. Tsukino ConJust thought I would do a quick journal to announce that I will be attending Tsukino Con on Saturday. I will be bringing my camera so if people want any photos, I'd love the practice!
Costume-wise, I'll hopefully be doing this Gumi (Vocaloid) outfit with :iconSaiaphi: as Mikuo.
If I don't finish it in time, I'll bring one of my Katniss costumes. Due to an unfortunate accident, my shirt fabric got destroyed so I won't be able to finish Gumi in time for the con so Katniss it is!

Trying to go ProfessionalWhat would it mean if I could actually take on YouTube as a profession?
Mainly it would result in 100% more videos for you guys, as well as being able to branch out and really dedicate time in production and editing.
This is something I've been talking about with Kelly for a while now, and I have recently (after some serious talk) gained my mothers support in the venture.
However, I can't do it for free. This is where you guys come in.
1) In the last few months of 2012, I plan to push for new designs in the Parlé store. So if you'd like to support us; then please buy a t-shirt or two when they are ready to go!

Hey all! So just posting again about Sakura Con seeing as how I'm all packed and ready to go (LOL FIRST TIME THAT'S BEEN THE CASE) 3 days in advance XD

If you're going to Sakura Con let me know what you're cosplaying! I'll be keeping my eyes peeled. i always love meeting new people at cons as well at catching up with people I've met before at con. In fact it's the major reasons why I go to cons XD So if you spot me please don't be shy and come say hi! (LO RHYME WHUUTT!?) As I've stated before I promise I'm not intimidating or mean and you can't possibly embarrass yourself or piss me off (DON'T WORRY I've got the awkward taco covered for both of us, even if you're awkward, my awkwardness will drown it out no problem).
