What doesn't kill you makes you strongerI just went back and read some of the horrible comments I've received from people in the past.
I remember how hurtful it was and how much I wanted to just dissapear from it all. I felt helpless and hopeless.
The internet can be a terrible place.
When people aren't accountable for what they say they feel a certain sense of power. The ability to judge others without being judged ourselves is a position of immense dominance. It's exhilarating to exercise that dominance over another person.
But now, looking back, I realize that it doesn't bother me anymore. I don't even bother hiding, deleting or responding to those comments because it just doesn't bug me. I feel a resounding "eh",
I keep those comments up so that people can see the kind of behaviour that people reduce themselves to when they're behind a computer screen. Every "this is shit" or ""he" is just a dyke and a "she"" has meaning to me now. It means that I've overcome something that I never would have thought possible. I'm not hu

On the subject of assisted suicide...Seems people are really enjoying these "stop and think" polls and journals I've been making as of late. So, I'll attempt to keep them coming!
As always, please do post your thoughts on the matter, even if they're against the majority, or even controversial! Also, please discuss the matter with one another as opposed to just expecting replies from me. I can't get around to every message (especially as many would just be a reply of "I agree"), so chatting about it amongst yourselves should inspire some interesting debates and alternative points of view!

FFFFFFFFFF Procrastination. And Upcoming SurgeryHey all!
So for the first time in maybe ever my DA inbox is at 100 notes... I've been REALLY bad about keeping up with replies this past 2 weeks but I will try my best to get through them. I'm behind on all of my accounts, so it's not just DA, I've been lazy everywhere. I'm hoping that my time off after surgery will help me do that XD
Which leads me to my next announcement, I will be having surgery on the 10th. It's a revision of the surgery I got last year. So nothing to be concerned about, it's a pretty straight-forward procedure. However, because I'll have the mobility of a T-Rex for a few weeks there might not be any FDP Youtube action for a little while. We're coming up to a busy time prepping for Sakura Con and Banzaicon as well so February might be a little slow in terms of updates.

I talked to Namine, She's nice. We had tea and she used me as a model. But she got frustrated and told me I didn't smile enough and told me to go get a smile. I'd like to say it didn't hurt, and that's what I want everyone else to think. But it stung.

Now that I'm a bit more settled into 2012, I'm getting my head around the year a little better. Despite my assurances to myself each year that I'll "take it easier next year", I've once again gone completely against that... and it's only January!

The Girl Scouts of America are marvellously allowing transgender girls (male-to-female) to join their ranks

However, this group and their associates have decided that hate and discrimination are better ideologies for the Girl Scouts.

Children are innocent. Don't subject them to your transphobia or hatred. Let the adults shoulder that if you really have to throw your faeces at someone.

All I can think of is how hurt these poor little girl scouts must be. They already deal with enough, being born in the wrong body. Now you're telling them that they're bad people for something that they can't help? I'll tell you what. I wouldn't feel safe sending my daughter into a girl scout troop with a bunch of hateful Bible thumpers. I'd much rather send my daughter in with a troop that offers positive messages of un-conditional love and acceptance for mankind.

Keep in mind that the same group is trying to boycott the Girl Scouts of America because the Girl Scouts are currently a pro-LGBTQ organization (which is AWESOME!). This group of boycotters is not just against transgender girls in their ranks, but against LGBTQ girls in their ranks as well.

If you are American BUY GIRL SCOUT COOKIES and support their continued efforts toward inclusion of ALL girls. If you are not American (and if you are American... sorry to double duty you folks!) SPREAD THE WORD!

If any of you are girl scouts (or know girl scouts) I'd love to buy some boxes of cookies from you!

Transphobia is just wrong. Girl Scouts accept girls no matter what their backstory is and it pains me to see that this group feels the need to exclude transgender people and LGBTQ from the organization. I definitely feel and think that you wrote this perfectly and gets the point across that there is NO reason in the world that people should discriminate against others, no matter who they are and what they do.

You set a great example for many people twin and you're definitely a great person.

Obviously some people are focusing on the wrong parts of the bible...one of the ten commandments after all is "love thy neighbor as thyself". Jesus preached love, not hate.

Being a Christian myself who supports LGBTQ rights, it frustrates me when people like that show up and give Christians everywhere a bad name just because of their own homophobia. It's them that hate people who are different, not God, they're just too chicken to admit it because if they do it means they don't have any "vindication" for their hatred after all.

It actually annoys me that boys are not allowed to even help out for Guides. Apparently it's because "boys don't want to bake or sew" Fuck off, I know plenty of guys who want to >.>. They should stop their stupid discrimination, Scouts have.

Let me tell you what, I used to be In Girls guides/souts when I was a Kid. Its very fun.
And I find it even more amazing that they are welcoming the LGBT community join them.

I'm proud.
Guides/scouts are about family and friendship and leanring to live happily with one another.

No matther your sexual orientaion, race or gender.

on the side note, I miss those cookies, I havent seen any being sold around where I live, But when i do, I'll bu some. YUM!
