Fanime, Nova Commissions and Contest (Update)Contest!
I am looking for art inspiration. In all honesty, my art skill is pretty lacking, but I really want to make one of my original stories into a web comic. So here's the contest!
Story Plot:
Xan is the 16 year old son of a politician. He is rebellious and does everything he can to try to ruin his father's career. One day, he meets Logan, a 25 year old procurer in the local Red-light District. Xan ends up getting roped into working as a male escort for Logan, but things end up getting out of hand and more than Xan's father's political career is at stake.
Character Description:
Xan: Average height and build. Fairly long, light brown hair. Green eyes. Tends to wear muscle shirts, jeans and hoodies.
Example of Xan
Logan: Short dark brown hair. Brown eyes. Clean-shaven. Always wears suits and designer clothes. About 5 inches taller than Xan, muscular build. Wears glasses, but doesn't actually need them. Smokes quite often.

Anime Revolution Review + Avatar VideoAnime Revolution ended a few days ago and I'm still riding that con high! In my opinion it was a stellar con with a really clean and professional atmosphere/vibe. It was the con's first year, but to me it ran (and looked) like a much more experienced con. I've heard a lots of criticism of the con, but not from the people I ran into at the con itself. Everyone I came across seemed to be in really good spirits and had a positive opinion of the con. I know that there are some tensions are Vancouver cons at the moment, but in my opinion the more the better! I'm not going to side with one con or another, to me that'd be silly, I want all the cons to succeed cause if my hometown was con central than I'd never be bored!!! WHICH IS AWESOME!

The day before we drove down to the con we arrived in San Fran and got picked up by our friends :iconcaineyamiyasha: and :iconhezaV: (who we miss dearly right now

) and they drove us down to Santa Cruz. They took us to their "secret beach" which was an amazing place, and then we went down to the Santa Cruz boardwalk and road a few rides before heading back. I wish we could have spent a week (or month) with them instead of just a weekend D:

Fanime was very different as compared to how it's been in the past. This year was rather rushed and stressful, and earned the nickname "line con" because of the 6 hour + pre-reg lineup on the first day and the enormous reg line ups that seemed forever present throughout the weekend. So I'm not 100% sure on when I'm going to be wearing my cosplays for Fanime, but I can say WHAT I am cosplaying! It'll be:

-Luke Fon Fabre (Tales of the Abyss)

Devious Journal EntryI just suffered shock at advice I saw being given to a convention goer of how to keep her energy levels up while at a convention...
- Hold soda in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing it, as your mouth absorbs the sugars quicker
- Drink OJ with sugar added to it
- Honey sticks
Basically, the advice given was "SUGAR, AND LOTS OF IT!"
God.
I don't know what people are taught about health in the USA, but clearly it's VERY different to the UK. People, PLEASE don't live on sugar at a convention! Not only is it bad for your teeth, but bad for your health, and it's NOT the best source of energy there is!
Eating regularly and healthily, especially wholemeals, will provide you with a much healthier and long-lasting source of energy. Sure, you may get a brief rush from a Red Bull, but you'll have a crash as well. I know none of us take the best care of ourselves at cons, but at least TRY to get in a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. And drink plenty of water!!

Banzaicon was AMAZING. The con was intimate, unique and incredibly fun. We had an amazing reception there, I would have never imagined that so many people wanted to meet us from all over the place. A huge thank you to everyone who came to our panels. They were all full, including the 10am ones (which UBER impressed me, cause even Nova and I were tired for those XD). Everyone was so friendly, funny and a pleasure to be around

I want to give a special thanks to the Banzaicon staff who were incredibly professional, accommodating and took perfect care of us while we were there. The con had so many things that I had never seen at other cons, which was especially impressive because it was a small-size con.
We had an amazing time in Norway in general as well, everyone we met was so nice!
All the people at the con were so wonderful. We got so many lovely gifts as well! Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome

an Important announcementso a few days ago I decided to call an end to this thing I have going on with deviantart here.
It was nice while it lasted but I want to avoid adding another scarring memory to my growing collection.
Over the time I've been on here I've met some.. interesting people and some I really wish would disappear forever.
It is a fact that I hate people or at least 99.9 percent o- yeah lets just say I hate people and be done with that sentence altogether before I hurt myself.
after taking a day out to talk to my dad, I finally said the things that I'd never been able to voice before and for the first time in my life my voice was actually heard, I was finally listened to and by the time I was done it became apparent that there was no normal solution to my problems and no cure for me.
In the end we came to the conclusion that the only thing I could do was to literally and in all meaning; for me to stop thinking.

so I went in for my scan but my uterus wouldn't show up so I had to wait (this happened for more times before all the liquid finally passed through) but finally after much laughing, and failing at a bubble game on my dad's android phone later, they were able to see my ovaries.. well ovary for some reason they couldn't see my other one so I immediately thought "it exploded, lololololol" which was the following of a small inside joke now since the start which went like "I can't see your ovaries" "thats because don't have any" ".A." xD its stupid I know.
but looking at my insides on a screen whilst having uncomfortable amounts of pressure on my full blader was rather interesting and by now I'd calmed down, aka I wasn't panicking anymore.

First things first, we leave for Fanime in 4 days!!!! 8D I'm getting all shaky-peeing-chihuahua just thinking about it. We're staying with ~caineyamiyasha and ~TerrorSprinkles who are gonna pick us up on Wednesday and show us around their neck of the woods which I'm greatly looking forward to. We don't get to spend very much time with them, so that little vacation day will be awesome I'm sure. Not to mention the con itself is sure to be a blast. I can't wait to meet all the folks who're going please comment and let me know what you're planning to bring for that awesome MUTLTISTALK effect 8D I also look forward to meeting up with people I've met before, because let's face it we only get to see each other once or twice a year and that's just too little-a-timeframe

I really hope I get to meet as many people as possible, because that's the reason I go to cons! XD So as per usual please don't be afraid to come say hi! No matter what, you're not a bother, I'm not going to knock you out and harvest your organs (unless you're a particularly supple looking individual) and it makes me happy because I love you guys

Because Youtube is deleting all inactive accounts, we will be moving all material from accounts seperate from the FDP main account to that account in order to avoid any accidental deleting.
