BanzaiCon RecapI don't even know how to start this journal. This convention was so different from any that I have been to before. I had a lot of fun. The convention staff worked so hard to make the event a success and their efforts paid off. All of the events were very fun things were running on schedule.
Everyone was extremely welcoming and *twinfools and I felt right at home immediately-- like we were among good friends.
Friday, we cosplayed CardCaptor Sakura again. I don't remember much about this day lol The con started at 6 and we played some "ice breaker games", which were a lot of fun. Then watched the opening ceremonies and they were fantastic! After that, I think we just talked to a bunch of people then finished the night off, watching the concerts.

Saturday, we were up early to get ready for our 10am panel. We cosplayed Bleach again, which Twin has been wanting to do for a long time. It was interesting being Orihime. I wanted

Banzaicon was AMAZING. The con was intimate, unique and incredibly fun. We had an amazing reception there, I would have never imagined that so many people wanted to meet us from all over the place. A huge thank you to everyone who came to our panels. They were all full, including the 10am ones (which UBER impressed me, cause even Nova and I were tired for those XD). Everyone was so friendly, funny and a pleasure to be around

I want to give a special thanks to the Banzaicon staff who were incredibly professional, accommodating and took perfect care of us while we were there. The con had so many things that I had never seen at other cons, which was especially impressive because it was a small-size con.
We had an amazing time in Norway in general as well, everyone we met was so nice!
All the people at the con were so wonderful. We got so many lovely gifts as well! Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome

Thursday
So *twinfools and I arrived in Seattle in the afternoon and went to the hotel to check-in. We had one heck of a time, but once everything was sorted out, we dropped off our bags and went to pick up our good friends, ~TerrorSprinkles and ~caineyamiyasha, from the train station. With all four of us finally there, we got ready for the convention.
Twin and I wore Peeta and Katniss (movie arena versions) and trolled around in those for awhile. We met up with :devGeeky-Spirit: and got some night shots in our Hunger Games cosplays.
After that, we went for a swim in the very crowded pool and called it a night.
Friday
This was the ~FightingDreamersPro group cosplay and this year we did X-Men. I've been wanting to cosplay Phoenix for a very long time so I was very happy to finally get the chance to do it. It was so much fun cosplaying with the rest of FDP again. It sucks that we are so busy and don't get to see each other as often as we used to.

What doesn't kill you makes you strongerI just went back and read some of the horrible comments I've received from people in the past.
I remember how hurtful it was and how much I wanted to just dissapear from it all. I felt helpless and hopeless.
The internet can be a terrible place.
When people aren't accountable for what they say they feel a certain sense of power. The ability to judge others without being judged ourselves is a position of immense dominance. It's exhilarating to exercise that dominance over another person.
But now, looking back, I realize that it doesn't bother me anymore. I don't even bother hiding, deleting or responding to those comments because it just doesn't bug me. I feel a resounding "eh",
I keep those comments up so that people can see the kind of behaviour that people reduce themselves to when they're behind a computer screen. Every "this is shit" or ""he" is just a dyke and a "she"" has meaning to me now. It means that I've overcome something that I never would have thought possible. I'm not hu

Fanime 2012, Youtube and Kingdom Bros BloopersFanime
First things first, we leave for Fanime in 4 days!!!! 8D I'm getting all shaky-peeing-chihuahua just thinking about it. We're staying with ~caineyamiyasha and ~TerrorSprinkles who are gonna pick us up on Wednesday and show us around their neck of the woods which I'm greatly looking forward to. We don't get to spend very much time with them, so that little vacation day will be awesome I'm sure. Not to mention the con itself is sure to be a blast. I can't wait to meet all the folks who're going please comment and let me know what you're planning to bring for that awesome MUTLTISTALK effect 8D I also look forward to meeting up with people I've met before, because let's face it we only get to see each other once or twice a year and that's just too little-a-timeframe

Kingdom Bros! and FanimeKingdom Bros
Hey guys! So as we're preparing for Fanime we managed to fit in the filming of a series we've been waiting to do for a while. We filmed the first 2 episodes of Kingdom Bros this weekend and all went really well. So I am pleased to present, Kingdom Bros!

Fanime
So I'm not 100% sure on when I'm going to be wearing my cosplays for Fanime, but I can say WHAT I am cosplaying! It'll be:
-Remus (Harry Potter: The Marauders)
-Blood (Alice in the Country of Hearts)
-Tidus (FFX)
-Ryoga (Ranma)
-Luke Fon Fabre (Tales of the Abyss)
Still sorting out some plans with other folks, but those are the cosplays that I'm bringing

ECCC, Sakura Con and Banzai ConSo spring is going to be busy for me. Three conventions-- maybe four in the next two months.
Emerald City Comic Con
First up is ECCC! I am very excited for this since it will be my first time going and a lot of my favourite comic artists will be there too

Next is Sakura Con, which I will probably only be there for Saturday and Sunday. Cosplay plans are really up in the air since I have a bunch of friends I want to cosplay with, but only 2 days to do so

I will post a journal with finalized plans in mid-March.

!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all we want to thank everyone, for the amazing and super cool time we had at Banzsaicon 3 !
We had a blast, and we all almost started crying when it was over :c
The crew was AMAZING and did an fantastic job with everything

On friday we came a bit late, cause we had to pack out our bags and stuff where we were sleeping, but when we came we was met with smiling faces all around n_n !
The con started out with an opening show which was brilliant.
Then there was bands playing and an amazing duo on guitar and vocal! Friday was an amazing start, and we met alot of amazing people !
Saturday we woke up EARLY EARLY EARLY too make it to Twin and Novas 10 am panel xs But it was definatly worth it

After the panel, we just hung around and had a good time with our new and old friends :3
Then later that night, we got the party started

We had to like run out of the building for fresh air X''D !

Banzaicon was superawesome!OH.MY.GOAT. I had such a great time! I'm really tired, but I want to do it all over again!
I got to meet a LOT of new and awesome people! Getting new friends and stuff ;u; I also got to meet :iconTwinfools: and :iconvandorwolf:. I didn't talk to them alot, but I got to talk to them a little bit atleast! They seem like really nice people

Also at the end of Q&A, they had one piece of paper with Twinfool's signature on it and something else at the other side. It was one left of few. And they had a little quiz. GUESS WHO GOT IT! (Me, if you didn't get that, lol) I.got.so.happy!

If I can, I'll definitely go to Banzaicon next year too! A great con!

Alcon 2012 and EnglandIt's been a crazy two weeks here in Vancouver for us XD We were guests at two of our cons in Vancouver which were on back to back weekends! It was a lot of fun but it's been cosplay-o-rama and con-o-rama none-stop for 2 (going on 3) weeks. Alcon will be our third con, so we're prepping and resting up for it so that we can show everyone the best time possible and have an absolute blast ourselves! Last year was amazing, this year is sure to be 100% better with :iconvaldrein: coming along. I'm so excited to see Parle and our friends from Alcon and Banzaicon again! I've missed you guys!!!!!!!!! Plus I can't wait to meet new people at Alcon this year

We're running a number of panels at the con, including one we're doing for the first time (Makeup Panel). We'll also be premiering Episode 3 of Kingdom Bros which is, for lack of a better word, terrifying.

It appraches!

and I will be flying to Norway on Wednesday for Banzaicon 2012! We're extremely excited, still riding out Sakura Con con high!

We've got a little more prep work to do, but we're almost all set. I'm really excited about our cosplay lineup, considering that it's got one of my childhood dream cosplays and a cosplay that I've been meaning to re-do for YEARS included

Saturday
"Cosplay Groups" at 10am: Everything from making cosplay friends to organizing a cosplay group and setting up a group account.

"Cosplay Music Videos" at 2pm: CMV's and how to make them. We will include CMV showings as well as a walkthrough of a CMV.

"Show: Black Butler Rap" at 7pm: a little show that we prepared just for Banzaicon. It's a completely new format to us, so we're looking forward to premiering a new "genre" live at Banzaicon!

Sunday
"Cosplay Skits" at 10am: a panel about making cosplay skits and improv. We will include skit showings and comparisons between skripted and improv comedy performances.

"Q and A" at 3pm: Our general Q and A, ask us whatever comes to your mind!

We hope to see you guys at our panels, I HAVE IMPROVED MY SLIDESHOWS 8D
And, as for the con, PLEASEEEEE come say hi! We're there to meet people so you won't ever be bothering us (I promise we're friendly people!!!). I hope to see everyone there!
