While I have some time to kill before the fabric store opens let's GET 'ER DONEEE
Cosplay:
I guess I must have started early OR just busted my ass more than usual this year because I'm more or less done two of my costumes for AE. Just some little things and wig fixing to go. I have 2 more costumes to make but they are both somewhat original. So they don't require as much careful crafting since I decide what they look like (for the most part) XD. Still lots of hard work ahead of us for the next few weeks, but generally I'm surprised at how well my costumes are going thus far.
Work:
Our new manager is fantastic. Nuff said. I told everyone in my work about my transition, and then posted a note in the back that was essentially a go ahead for people to start calling me by my male name and male pronouns. I came into work the new day, and everyone was calling me Kai and "he". it was a stunning change, I'm so happy to be working with such fantastic people

. Of course, people are still slipping up on occasion, but i expect that and what's important is the effort. And that effort is certainly there. My manager also surprised me by changing my name on everything in the store that it was written on

All of a sudden I'm the veteran at my store (and I've only been there a year), shows how massive of a turnover we had.
Transition:
4 Months on T and my voice is still cracking, but it's also starting to deepen and darken as of the past 2 week. But this is still very inconsistent, and my voice is still fluctuating, but not as much as it was before. I also feel like I have a little more control over it, and I'm trying consciously to change my speaking mannerisms as well. My shoulders have gotten far more broad and on the whole my body has become more lean and muscular. My upper body in particular is almost unrecognizable from what it used to be. I've also noticed a slight thinning in my face, and my jawline is becoming stronger. The amount of exercise I do is probably helping to push my fat redistribution.
My doctor said that my bloodwork and physical/mental shape are perfect, so i don't have to get blood taken until October! My testosterone level was at 16 (normal male range is around 20-80) last time, so that was concerning. But this time it was at 82! Thats a huge relief and means that every thing's going swimmingly on the hormonal end of things

I'm working out about once every 2 days. It's been kind of hard, since now it's cosplay crunch time, but I'm trying to stay consistent.
I also managed to tell my parents. They are reluctant to talk about it, but they are continuing to support me despite knowing what I'm doing and who I am. They haven't disowned me, and I'm endlessly thankful for that. I hope things get better with them as time goes on.
School:
I enrolled in all of my classes for Fall and got all the courses I wanted! WOOT! I also changed my preferred name and gender in the school system. SO STOKED to start school as a male

Life in General:
Aside from exercising, making cosplay, going to work and watching movies at home, I've been very much getting back to hanging out with close friends. It was great to get to go to the PNE with FDP a few weeks ago, and I had a lot of fun filming our
Full Metal Alchemist skit [link]That's about it for now!

Peace!
How did you deal with it???
I know I might be some random person though asking you about this and it seems like you're REALLY busy but if you ever have the time could you please respond Thank you ^.^
Also if it's too personal I'll understand
It made me laugh. ^^
Is this the same school you're going to as before? I hope everyone will accept the change and so.
Wish you the best of luck!!
