Aang for a Cure: FDP Charity Fundraiser

Hello everyone!

I've been thinking for the last month or so about FDP's next charity event. It's been a while since Nova's Pray for Japan campaign (relief for tsunami victims) and I figured that it might be time for another project.

I've been talking for years about shaving my head to cosplay Aang. He's my favourite character in The Last Airbender, and although I've cosplayed him before that was a while ago (aka I'm not satisfied with that costume XD). To kick my ass into gear to do this, I've decided to shave my head for cancer research. Shaving off hair for cancer fundraisers is a pretty common thing to do, but this time there's a twist… when you make a donation of any size to any cancer society (I've provided links to some major ones, but feel free to donate to any local organizations or organizations in your country that I may have missed!) reply to this message and include 1) Where you made a donation to 2) Who you want to shave Aang's head: Sokka, Zuko, Azula, Katara or Toph.

On November 5th whoever you guys picked will shave my head in an Avatar video

And please keep in mind that this is on the honour system! I'm not making a separate donation site because I feel like this way you guys KNOW that your money is going to charity on not to us or anyone else. So, if you're able to help out and if you know who want to see shave Aang, please donate to one of the linked cancer society donation pages OR donate to your local cancer society!
