Aki Con

THE MOST STRESSFUL CON considering it’s size XD but you know what? It was pretty fun. and I managed to get a few hours of sleep on the couch at HQ the night before we left.

We left at 8am, and arrived at the con at about noon. We got our room right away, which was awesome, and *Valdrein *jj-dreamworldz :devVandorWolf and I changed into our Tsubasa jumpsuits. People sorta kinda recognized Nova and I, and the paint roller was rubbed ALL OVER EVERYTHING. Can't wait to cosplay Syaoran again I want to do so many of his outfits DDDD

Met at ’s panel, and she gave Nova and I INCREDIBLE artwork of our Roxas and Sora cosplays. I love that picture so much thank you! It was fantastic to get to meet you.

didn’t have her Karin cosplay for Saturday the person brining it forgot it…) so we also spent the day driving to the fabric store and Nova (Akita and I helped… a bit XD) managed to MAKE a Karin cospaly in a few hours. We used my Fong wig the next morning to make the Karin wig. Akita also switched into our room. CON DAUGHTER MUST ROOM WITH MOTHER NOVA AND FATHER TWIN!
Changed into Naruto that night and went to the Narutard panel as Sasuke (me wearing blue jumpsuit…. Which was wayyyy better than mine XD), Sakura (Nova in her pink jumpsuit) and Rock Lee (Akita in my green jumpsuit).

Saturday was awesome. I cosplayed Sasuke, Nova was Sakura, Akita was Karin, as Naruto and as Kakashi. We filmed our skit. And at one point Nova and I waited on floor 7 to meet Akita at our room… only to remember that we were on floor 6 XD. Poor Akita thought we were playing a prank on her D: XD And that night we cosplayed as formal Sasuke and Sakura with Akita as formal Naruto. Hung out with pizza by the fire sitting on . Tried to rub AG’s nostrils with as made faces that strongly resemble all the internet emoticons combined. PHRASE OF THE DAY= Naruto Kakashi OTP

Sunday was a stressful morning, because we woke up an hour late… Akita had to deal with me getting my head stuck in my secret cosplay in the morning. Scariest shit EVER, I thought I was going to die wrapped in broadcloth XD. Our cosplays this day it seemed were very well received, and we had a blast. Definitely want to wear this cosplay again, I loved it. GO BEE! USE YOUR CAR AND DRIVE US AWAY!

Sunday afternoon came and we had to leave D: so sad saying goodbye to everyone, especially Akita (but we’ll see you soon daughter XD).

Definitely will be returning next year! But for now, a 3 month con break… FILLED WITH MAKING MORE COSTUMES
The break is a LIE
But hey, it’s a labor of love XD

Well... it's 2am the morning of Aki Con, and I just finished all of my costumes. Boy was that the worst and more stressful pre-con time I've ever been through *takes deep breath*

Haven't updated recently, I don't really have anything to update with XD Working on a massive amount of costumes for this month, it's gonna be tough with no sewing machine of my own, but last night was a good start. I finished all the sewing I have to do for one costume, just need to add some buttons now. And made some pieces for two other costumes. Unfortunately I realized that I need more/different fabric D: so i couldn't do as much as I would have liked to. BUT, thanks to allowing me to use her machine and crash at her house, i'm very proud of what I got done

School is keeping me really busy atm. I just finished a week that had 2 presentations, 2 essays and a test due. I think they all went pretty well, so here's hoping :S

Work is just the added bonus of business XD I like my job (for the most part) but next week I'm gonna have one extra shift, not really looking forward to it, I'd rather use that little bit of extra time to arrange another sewing night.

I'm excited for all the the cosplays that and i have planned though, like REALLY excited

Since getting back from Kumoricon my life has been pretty hectic. School and work are keeping me on the run, and I've got lots of paperwork/bills to pay in the next few weeks... but hey, I've got Aki Con to look forward to!

Planning to do a group cosplay with *VandorWolf, ~Kran-it and !PhantomThief on Friday.
Then another group cosplay with *VandorWolf and *Valdrein for Saturday.
And for Sunday *VandorWolf and I are joining *Valdrein and *jj-dreamworldz Tsubasa for Sunday (I'll be cosplaying Syaoran for that ).
There will be a Katekyo Hitman Reborn cosplay in there as well.

Also, hopefully some Kumoricon photos will be up soon, specifically from teh Sailor Moon shoot. I cannot WAIT to improv my Uranus cosplay and cosplay her (or another Haruka outfit) again with my lovley Neptune/Michiru

After having it for just over 3 months and after using it for, what? 4 projects? My sewing machine has broken down D: I manned up last week and tried to fix it by taking apart and attempting to put back together the entire bobbin mechanism... and I THOUGHT I had fixed it. but last night it broke down, so I took it to the store today to be fixed. It'll be done by Friday at the earliest, which means crunch time for the project I have to have done for this weekend :S But on the bright side it's still under warranty, so i no have to PAYYYYY +D

I WILL get these cosplays done even if I have to glue them. But this just sets me back a bit... I planned on finishing a majority of my work while I had time off today and tomorrow. So much for those plans XP

But at least i will (hopefully) have a fresh machine to work with for my Kumoricon cosplays. It's coming up fasssttttt D;

ALSSOOOO, see my new icon? I LOVE IT *VandorWolf made it for me and came up with the idea of using my Twin Fools boys for a new icon. So all credit goes to her I'm hoping to draw a more iconfriendly picture of the boys.

Just slept all day on my first nothing-to-do day off in a while, so yes, I am sitting on my bed, in the dark, being fat and happy clam chowder would make me HAPPIER, but alas, no clams D=

What I consider a fake or impostor isn't someone who uses the name twinfools or twin_fools or some other variant. It's the use of photos and claiming ownership of these photos, use of personal bios/written work, claiming ownership of videos I have done or claiming to BE me. I don't own the username "twinfools" however I DO own my own identity, photos, videos and other such things.
