I was going to call this photo "Ash- Pokemon Trainer" to spite :iconheimdall-san:... but then I weighed the consequences and decided that the hilarity that would ensue did not justify the beatings.

This was my fallback costume for AE. I only made the jacket, and I made it last minute. The costume was a very good excuse to wear comfortable clothing on the last day. I can't wait to upload the skit we did for Pokemon. It was such a blast to film! I hope that :iconvandorwolf:, :iconkenshiro-fdp:, :iconweatherstone: and I can cosplay Red and the Gym Leaders again in the future :3

Oddly, there were a few different versions of Red that I found while searching for references. I chose the version from the manga, but I wore the hat forwards and used different jeans and shoes. It's inaccurate as a result, but it's not like that's unusual with my cosplays XD. Fail on my part.

Hat, jeans, shirt, shows and Pokeball were all bought locally.

the pokeball is a type of toy that you can find at walmart, and they have a string attached to them that opens the pokeball when you throw it, so that the plushie inside goes flying out. I have like three of them.

They used to sell them here, but now it's too expensive to go grocery shopping at walmart, so I haven't been there in a really long time. I don't know if they still sell them.
