I LOVE Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I picked up the first book on a whim as something to read while I was on a plane to Wisconsin. And at first i thought it was so lame. "Happy Potter goes to summer camp with a Greek twist" is what i thought, but for some reason i was compelled to read the second book. After the second book, the third book and then just for the hell of it the fourth. By that point I was hooked. It's an awesome series, and i love almost all of the characters so much. I wanted to cosplay Percy from the very beginning, but I also want to do Luke and Nico at one point as well =D. And, of course, Nova is being my lovely Annabeth [link]

I might use a different wig, but first i want to see how I like this more "anime" inspired one. I just can't do the whole plain flat wig thing T_T I have to style and add some shape XD
Anyway, we'll see how it goes. But for now, this is a preview of my Percy Jackson cosplay!

I encourage people to give this series a try. It is pretty cheesy but the characters and plot really do take a more mature turn in the later books. The character development is amazing. There is alot of deeper meaning that really takes advantage of Greek mythology.

Omg, I love this series! I was reading it before it even went on the shelfs (Do too my...um...nack for "forgeting" that I had the teachers copies of books.) And now they are coming out with a movie! I love your wig and it would be awesome if you would post some cosplay pics for the olympians!(especialy Nico!)

Whooooooaaaaa~! I love Percy Jackson! My brother got me the third book for my birthday, so I read that one first (bad idea) so I didn't get hooked until I finally went to the library and checked out the first one. I. Was. Hooked! You're right when you say the character development is amazing 'cause it is! When I saw the trailer in theaters (while going to see HP6) I fan-screamed like I haven't since the new 'FFVII AC Complete' came out. Are you a fan of Percabeth?

I like the more anime-styled wig too. Flat wigs don't really do it for me... ^^;
